Each seasonal class schedule aims to incorporate classes based on individual action towards sustainability. This winter we are highlighting permaculture design in food sustainability, developing a pantry system, prenatal health care and nutrition, and bio-fuels production and activism. Profits pay local experts for their skills and also benefit Nederland Sustainability Project. Sliding scale prices are available with work trade options.

Those registered before Jan 10th receive the Early Bird (EB) discount listed below.

Ecoteams Orientation and Potluck
An Ecoteam is a group of households (usually 6-8) who commit to a four month monitoring period, recording household habits with regard to waste, consumption of gas, electricity, and water, transportation uses and shopping patterns. Ecoteams are designed to help households reduce their environmental impacts from energy and water use to consumer behavior. This is a fun and educational exercise for everyone in the family. An Ecoteam is not simply a discussion group, it is a practical workshop where words and thoughts are translated to ACTION! Thursday
